“Legacy” was created to show the love and pride that grandparents feel in seeing the next generation of their family grow up. I thought that a family portrait with everyone dressed in their finest was a perfect way to capture this sentiment. When I decided that I wanted to put a picture on the wall behind the sofa, I decided to include one of my earlier pieces (“Preaching to the Choir”).
The art prints offered for sale are reproductions of an original quilt created in 2019 by Linda Keene, a Charlotte-based fiber artist.
