My husband Bob is an avid golfer. He fell in love with he game after taking his first lesson in 1999 and has played steadily ever since. In anticipation of a milestone birthday that he has coming up this year, I thought it would be fun to do a piece that honors his love of the sport. He was enthusiastic about coaching me on the details of the game so that I could create an authentic image. At times, he got a little carried away with his role as “Creative Consultant”, but overall the experience of working together was a lot of fun.
The art prints offered for sale are reproductions of an original art quilt created by Linda Keene, a Charlotte-based fiber artist.
