Seated on a golden throne, the woman in Purple Reign meets the world with quiet confidence. Her gown, headwrap, and jewelry are surrounded by rich purple, blue, and gold. I created the portrait to celebrate African American womanhood, dignity, and the power of seeing ourselves represented as royalty. This set contains two packages of ten blank 5 × 7 notecards, with ten envelopes in each package.
